If we break down running, it’s essentially a series of single-leg hopping from one side to the other. Add this up, over and over again, and you have a lot of forces and load being transmitted through the body.
Therefore, runners need to have the balance between right and left and front to back to ensure that the body doesn’t get overworked and overloaded, risking not only pain and injury, but also leaving performance on the table as well.
